Optimizely is an accomplished tool. I was lucky enough to be an early user and have seen it grow and develop. However, the Optimizely of today is very different. Since the launch of Optimizely X and its focus on enterprise, it’s now out of the reach of a majority of businesses when there are cheaper and just as capable tools available. Optimizely is a great tool for enterprises that have large testing teams. If you’re in that boat then you should consider Optimizely. For small to medium businesses, there are better alternatives available. Even for the large enterprise just starting on a test and learn journey Optimizely isn’t the best starting point. On this occasion for anyone but the large enterprise, Optimizely is a Goodbye.
